Abstract:
PURPOSE: To set a gate arm to a completely free condition without the application of a braking force by an external operation lever.
CONSTITUTION: A middle position, in which a microswitch 60 is in a power supply stop condition and a friction brake device 20 is in a non-operation condition, is set in an operation lever 32 for interlockingly operating the microswitch 60 for controlling power supply to the friction brake device 20 and the control circuit for manually brake-holding a gate arm, in addition to a lock releasing position and a chain-locking position, and the operation lever 32 is stopped and held in this middle position. Thus, when the blackout lowering time adjusting work of the gate arm is performed, the gate arm is set to a free condition only by a lever operation from the outside.
