PURPOSE: To provide the chair with an ottoman, in which the ottoman and the chair main body are formed integrally, the ottoman formation can be operated at hand, and a relaxed posture and a sitting state that knees are bent can be taken.

CONSTITUTION: The chair consists of a leg part 1, a sitting part 2 supported thereon, a back rest part 3 which is supported pivotally in the rear end of this sitting part 2, and is freely turnable, an ottoman part 4 supported pivotally in the front end part of the sitting part 2, a supporting lever 5 for connecting the back rest part 3 and the ottoman part 4, and locking mechanisms 6, 7 for fixing a position of the back rest part 3 and the ottoman part 4, and the ottoman part 4 consists of a first lever body 42, a second lever body 44 supported pivotally in this end part, and a third lever body 45 fixed to this second lever body 44.
