Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair which has no need of providing, on the outside, a stopper or the like for suppressing too much deformation when a large load acts, is provided with appropriate elastic deformation, and is capable of improving a sitting comfort.SOLUTION: A chair 1 includes a component having a receiving surface for receiving a load, and the component includes: a hard part 11 having an elastic deformation area lastically deformed when the load is applied; a recessed part 112 provided in the hard part 11 while being opened on the receiving surface side, and provided with a pair of opposed surfaces 113 brought closer accompanying the elastic deformation; an internal elastomer 12 disposed inside the recessed part 112; and an external elastomer 15 integrated with the internal elastomer 12 and provided along the receiving surface.
