Abstract:
To provide a channel forming device that can improve the collection ratio of collecting, with foreign substance collecting means, a foreign substance contained in a gas passing through a channel forming member, and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A channel forming device 200 comprises: a channel forming member 35 that forms a channel F2 for a gas; and foreign substance collecting means 21 that is attached to an inside surface of the channel forming member 35. The channel forming device includes cooling means 27 that cools a portion of the channel forming member 35 to which the foreign substance collecting means 21 is attached, and cools a gas in the vicinity of the foreign substance collecting means 21 in the channel forming member 35.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
