PURPOSE: To improve the reliability of a maintenance operation by adding an identifier for correcting a specification key for an article which is maintained outside to the specification key and correcting the specification key by an operator based on the identifier while the key is reconfirmed.
CONSTITUTION: When the specification key (1) of article specifications is changed, 'REN(Rename)' and the name of the specification key (1) after the change are written successively in the entry field of the code (7) of the object specification key (1). For example, when the specification key (1) of 'A-2' in FD1 is changed into 'A-11', the operator is made to write 'RENA-11' in the entry field of the code (7) of 'A-2' in the FD1. When article specifications 10 are added, the specification key (1) of the article specifications 10 to be added is written in the entry field of the specification key (1) and further 'ADD (Addition)' meaning addition is entered into the entry field of the code (7) adjoining to the specification key (8).
