To provide a characteristic measuring apparatus for current detector that can determine a range of an input allowable current while taking characteristic variation of a zero-phase current detected by a current detector into consideration by measuring characteristics of the current detector.

The characteristic measuring apparatus for current detector includes an input current generating circuit 2 for input to the current detector and a characteristic determining circuit 3 determining characteristics of the current detector. The input current generating circuit 2 has an input current selection part capable of making a choice among a plurality of values of different current values, and the characteristic determining circuit 3 includes a detection value reception part which receives a detection value of a zero-phase current detected by the current detector for each input current, a difference calculating part which calculates a difference value of the zero-phase current as a difference between the detection value of the zero-phase current detected by the current detector and a zero-phase current to be detected which is set to the current detector, and a determining part which determines the level of the input allowable current capable of being allowed as the zero-phase current detected by the current detector from the difference value of the zero-phase current calculated by the difference calculating part.
