PURPOSE: To reduce the load of an information processing device in a decentralized control packet exchange system by adding charge information collected by one of two information processing devices to a call cut packet and transmitting to another information processing device.
CONSTITUTION: When a communication circuit (a) requests information transfer to a communication circuit (b), and sends a call request packet to an information processing device A, call is set between circuits (a), (b) through an information processing device B, and required information is transferred by an information transferring packet, and charge information is accumulated in charge information areas CIa and CIb in call controlling memories CMA, CMB provided in the devices A, B. When information transfer is completed, the circuit (a) transmits cut request packet to the device A. The device A adds charge information accumulated in the area CIa to the cut request packet and transmits to the device B. The device B extracts charge information from the packet and collects this and charge information accumulated in the area CIb synthetically and stores in an auxiliary memory, and performs charge processing.
