To surely hold a portable electronic appliance, by providing on a charging base a first cavity for inserting thereinto and putting thereon the portable electronic apparatus, by providing on the external bottom surface of its housing portion a second cavity for storing therein a first connecting means accompanying to its power transferring means, and further, by providing on the inner wall of the second cavity a second connecting means for combining therewith the first connecting means.
On the top surface of an upper cover 11 (a housing portion made of an insulation resin) of a charging base, there is formed slightly inclined in rear a nearly rectangular cavity 25 (a first cavity) having a size such that one portion of a portable electronic apparatus with charging terminals can be inserted thereinto. Also, two slits are provided in the bottom surface of the cavity 25, and on the back sides of both the side surfaces of the upper cover 11, elastically deformable resin springs 30 for fastening to the side surfaces thereby a backrest portion 21 are formed. Then, in a combinable lower cover 13 (a housing portion made of insulation resin) with the upper cover 11 which has sidewalls, there is provided on its external bottom surface a cavity 24 (a second cavity) having a size such that a connector 53 (a first connecting means) can be stored therein and having a similar shape to the external shape of the connector 53. Also, a connector portion 19 (a second connecting means) is stored in the inside of the lower cover 13.
