Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly switch constant current charging to constant voltage charging by using a hysteresis circuit as a switching determination circuit.SOLUTION: A charger performs constant current charging on a secondary battery and can perform switching to constant voltage charging when battery voltage of the secondary battery reaches charging reference voltage. The charger comprises a hysteresis circuit constituted of an operand amplifier or a comparator as a switching determination circuit when constant current charging is switched to constant voltage charging, and hysteresis upper limit voltage of the hysteresis circuit and charging voltage are made almost equal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
