Title:
CHEMICAL CONVERSION TREATMENT METHOD FOR ALUMINUM ALLOY OR MAGNESIUM ALLOY FORMED BODY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3778876
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simplified chemical conversion treatment method for the formed body of an aluminum alloy or a magnesium alloy in which degreasing, etching, desmut and neutralization stages can be obviated.
SOLUTION: In the chemical conversion treatment method, the surface of the formed body of at least one kind of alloy selected from an aluminum alloy and a magnesium alloy is subjected to chemical conversion treatment before coating. The method comprises abarrel polishing stage wherein the formed body, an etching liquid of pH <7 and abrasives are charged to a barrel polishing device, and the formed body is polished until at least to 15 s after the point of time at which the pH of the etching liquid is neutralized; a stage of water-washing the formed body; a stage of forming a film on the formed body; and a stage of drying the formed body.
