Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a chip mounter for supporting a board at the time of mounting a component irrespective of a component contact or a positional relationship between gridlike holes of a pedestal.
CONSTITUTION: A compressed air injecting nozzle 7 is installed on a pedestal 5 oppositely to a component mounting nozzle 9 through a board 6 and moved the same as the nozzle 9 in X- and Y-directions and for feeding compressed air from an opposite surface to the board 6 simultaneously upon mounting the component by the nozzle 9.
