To provide a chip recovery device in a non-shut off water cutting device capable of not only taking out chip generated when drilling a hole in a fluid pipe or performing cutting machining to the outside securely but also preventing the interference with the chip recovery device due to bending of the fluid pipe which occurs after cutting machining when removing the non-shut off water cutting device.
A chip guide 7 allowing the insertion of an end mill into a lower end of a rotary sleeve 3 can advance, retract, and move between a position for approaching outer periphery of a water pipe 1 and a position for leaving it. The chip generated while the end mill drills a hole in the water pipe 1 can be securely taken out to the outside by the chip guide 7 positioned by approaching the water pipe 1. Moreover, even if the water pipe 1 is bent and is expanded or shrunk after cutting machining, it is possible to avoid the interference with the chip guide 7 to realize safe use.
