To provide a chisel case that can change a chisel kept therein from the stored position to the usable position easily as its lid that is protected against separation is opened in one direction.

A case body 11 supports a holder 12 for a chisel 13 so that it can swing up or down about its pivot portion 12c, and a lid 21 for a graver handle 13a so that it can swing up or down about its pivot portion 21d. The pivot portion 21d is mounted with a swing plate 22 placed into contact with the lower surface of a support plate 12a of the holder 12 to press the holder 12 up from the stored position to the usable position. Swing movement of the lid 21 in one opening direction brings the holder 12 from the stored position to the usable position, and movement in the other direction changes it from the latter to the former.
