PURPOSE: To provide title resin molded article having improved heat resistance and water resistance, obtd. by a method wherein PVC is incorporated into chlorinated vinyl chloride resin compsn. and the mixt. is molded at a molding temperature.

CONSTITUTION: A chlorinated vinyl chloride resin compsn. consisting of 70W84 wt% of chlorinated polyvinyl chloride and 30W16wt% of polyvinyl chloride, is molded at a molding temp. of 190W220°C, preferably 200W210°C. Preferred chlorine content is 63W68wt% based on the combined weight of chlorinated polyvinyl chloride and polyvinyl chloride. Not more than 10wt% of an elastomer may be incorporated into the resin compsn. to improve impact resistance. Preferred elastomer is ABS resin.
