Abstract:

To produce a chopped carbon fiber strand that has good fluidity and excellent cost performance, to obtain a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin composition produced by using the chopped strand and a formed body having good mechanical properties and electroconductivity produced by using the fiber- reinforced thermoplastic resin composition.

The objective chopped carbon fiber strand is surface-coated with a sizing agent including a polyether as a major component, and in addition, over-coated with another sizing agent including a thermoplastic resin.
