Abstract:
PURPOSE: To recover scrap iron pieces demagnetized and dropped by disposing a magnetic separator above a belt conveyor, suction removing scrap iron pieces mixed into a crushed material and setting a backing plate below a magnet end face section on the lower face moving completion end side of a belt with pawl for the magnetic separator.
CONSTITUTION: A magnetic separator 9 with a built-in magnet 26 and a belt 10 with pawl rotating to the outside of the magnet 26 wound around is disposed above a belt conveyor 12 extending to the front on the lower side of a main vehicle body 7. Scrap iron pieces mixed into a crushing material are suction removed by the magnetic separator 9. Also a backing plate 16 inclined downward to the outside of the belt conveyor 12 is set above the belt conveyor 12 and below the end face section of the magnet 26 on the lower face moving completion end side of the belt 10 with pawl. Also side plates 17 and 18 for preventing the dropping of scrap iron pieces to the side ends of both inclined side end edge sections of the backing plate 16 are disposed in upright, and the backing plate 16 is fixed on a conveyor frame 14 to constitute a chute 15 for the magnetic separator.
