PURPOSE: To completely separate coins and cleaning chips by longitudinally dividing the inside of a box into a plurality of spaces by partition plates which are laid in parallel with side plates of the box at intervals smaller than the diameter of the coins and each of which has adjacent cut-outs stepped from each other, and by fixing chip separating rods to the bottom surface of the box, orthogonal to the partition plates, at intervals smaller than the diameter of the coins.
CONSTITUTION: The inside of the box 10 is longitudinally divided into a plurality of spaces by partition plates 16a, 16b which are laid in parallel with side plates 12 of the box 10 at intervals which are smaller than the diameter of coins and each of which has adjacent cut-outs 18 stepped from each other, and chip separating rods 20 are fixed to the bottom surface of the box 10 at intervals smaller than the diameter of the coins, orthogonal to the partition plates 16a, 16b. When the mixture of coins and chips charged into the cut-outs 18 of the partition plates 16a, 16b, the coins laid on the bottom surface of the box stand vertically, being caused by the cut-outs 18, and enter spaces between the partition plates 16a, 16b. Then the coils makes contact with the chip separating rods 20, and fall down. Thus, the coins and chips may be separated easily from each other with a very simple structure without the chips being held between the coins.
