Abstract:
To provide a circuit device, etc. capable of reducing cost by conserving storage capacity using subtractive color processing, and suppressing a degradation in image quality caused by the subtractive color processing.SOLUTION: A circuit device 100 comprises: a subtractive color circuit 140 that carries out the subtractive color processing from input image data IMA with pixel data of m bits to a subtractive color-processed image data IMB with the pixel data of n bits, and also carries out error diffusion processing in a spatial direction or a time direction in the subtractive color processing; a storage circuit 115 that stores the subtractive color-processed image data IMB; and an image conversion circuit 150 that carries out image conversion processing, which is at least one of mapping processing and scaling processing with respect to the subtractive color-processed image data IMB stored in the storage circuit 115, outputs output image data IMC, and carries out interpolation processing that generates the pixel data of the output image data IMC from plural sets of pixel data in the subtractive color-processed image data IMB in the image conversion processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
