Title:
CIRCUIT FOR GENERATING ACOUSTIC SIGNALS WITH AMPLITUDE CONTROL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5810800
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
For amplitude-controlled generation of an audible signal from stored digital signals, a digital-analog conversion is carried out through changeover of the base current of a bipolar transistor which is controlled with the digital signals, said transistor being connected in series with a loudspeaker. The circuit is also suitable for generating a swell and fade effect and can function with operating voltages of around 1 V due to the current-controlled analog-digital conversion. Particularly advantageous use in integrated systems is therefore possible.
