Abstract:
To provide a planar antenna shared for circularly polarized waves which enables circularly polarized waves to be easily switched with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A plane antenna shared for circularly polarized waves includes: an antenna unit 2 in which two feeding elements for transmitting and receiving two polarization signals orthogonal to each other are arranged in a matrix form and an upper layer feeding element substrate and a lower layer feeding element substrate are laminated; and a polarizer unit 4 that is laminated on a radiation surface side of the antenna unit 2, is configured by a meander line polarizer and converts one of the two polarization signals into a left-handed circularly polarized wave while converting the other polarization signal into a right-handed circularly polarized wave. One of the antenna unit 2 and the polarizer unit 4 has a shaft 10, and the other has a bearing 6 to which the shaft 10 is fitted. There is provided a fixture 15 for fixing the positional relation between the antenna unit 2 and the polarizer unit 4 when the antenna unit 2 and the polarizer unit 4 are in a predetermined positional relation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
