Abstract:
To obtain a composition which exhibits high solubility in water, cosmetics, drinks, food products, pet food products, and the like, and has excellent palatability, excellent stability, a good fat decomposition-promoting effect, and a slimming effect.
A clathrate compound is prepared by containing a hydroxyphenyl-butan-2-one represented by formula (1) (R1 is H, OH or methoxy) or a hydroxyphenyl-butan-2-ol represented by formula (2) (R2 is H, OH or methoxy) in a branched cyclodextrin. A cosmetic, a bathing agent, a drink composition, a food composition, and a pet food composition contain each the clathrate compound.
