Abstract:

To provide a cleaning mechanism for electrophotographic members including xerographic members such as fuser members and external heating members.

The cleaning mechanism can include an abrasive cleaning web in contact with the fuser member. The abrasive cleaning web includes a non-woven fabric and at least one abrasive. The cleaning mechanism can further include: a supply roll configured to advance the abrasive cleaning web; and a take-up roll configured to collect the abrasive cleaning web.
