PURPOSE: To obtain a cleaning apparatus with a cover which enables compactly and neatly housing of a head for cleaning fouled by dust in a concealed state thereof.

CONSTITUTION: This cleaning apparatus is made up of a handle bar member 1 which comprises first and second handle bar members 1b coupled free to extend and is adapted to reach a necessary length for cleaning by extending both the handle bar members 1a and 1b, a retaining means 2 to retain both the handle bar members 1a and 1b at an extending position and a reducing position, an adhesive roller as head for cleaning mounted at the lower end of the first handle bar member 1a and a cover 10 for the head mounted at the lower end of the second handle bar member 1b.
