To provide a cleaning blade with excellent durability, which is prevented from being chipped and abnormally worn by suppressing the occurrence of stick-slip phenomenon, and to provide a cleaning device and an image forming apparatus.
The cleaning blade 1 having a hardness of 65-80, which is arranged in a counter direction y with respect to the rotational direction x of an image carrier 2 whose surface has a coefficient of static friction of 0.3-0.5, while bringing the edge portion of the cleaning blade 1 into contact with the image carrier, has a groove 3 along a longitudinal direction in the side surface 1a on the upstream side in the rotational direction of the image carrier, of the side surfaces constituting a contact edge portion with the image carrier, of the cleaning blade. The cleaning device is provided with the cleaning blade and the image forming apparatus is provided with the cleaning device.
