Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device and the like that eliminate the accumulation of toner on the periphery of a cleaning blade and appropriately replace the accumulating toner.SOLUTION: A cleaning device 16 of the present invention includes: a cleaning roller 21 that comes into contact with the surface of a photoreceptor drum 11 carrying a toner image from above to rotate so as to remove a residual toner attached to the surface of the photoreceptor drum 11; a cleaning blade 22 that is in contact with the surface of the photoreceptor drum 11 on the downstream side in the direction of rotation of the photoreceptor drum 11 with respect to the cleaning roller 21 to scrape off the residual toner; a regulating blade 24 that is in contact with the cleaning roller 21 to regulate the thickness of the residual toner attached to the surface of the cleaning roller 21; and a movement mechanism 25 that moves the regulating blade 24 between a pressing position P1 in pressure contact with the surface of the cleaning roller 21 and a separation position P2 separated from the surface of the cleaning roller 21.
