Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning mechanism capable of highly effectively cleaning an image forming device at an appropriate time not only the replacement time of parts in the image forming device.
SOLUTION: The cleaning mechanism has a cleaning member movable into or out of the image forming device, and cleans a member in the image forming device. In the cleaning mechanism, the cleaning member abuts on the member to be cleaned, only in the direction where the cleaning member is inserted into the image forming device or in the direction where the cleaning member is pulled out of the image forming device.
