To provide a cleaning robot with an intruder repelling function that can prevent damage by reliably repelling an intruder.
A body 10 is provided with human sensors 14 for detecting an intruder into a room, a camera 18 actuated when the human sensors 14 detect an intruder to image the intruder, a spray means 20 for spraying the intruder with gas, smoke or the like, and a buzzer 19 for generating an alarm sound. After a photograph of the intruder imaged by the camera 18 is transmitted to a room owner's cellular telephone, the spray means 20 is actuated to spray gas, smoke or the like from outlets 12 and thereby repel the intruder. When the intruder tries to break the cleaning robot 100, the buzzer 19 generates a loud alarm sound upon impact detection.
