Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance heat exchange efficiency by heating a mixed fluid of a working fluid and an oxidizing agent by directly blowing out it into alkaline metal in an alkaline metal tank in a Brayton cylce engine which is used in an underwater sailing body and uses alkaline metal and an oxidizing aged as a heat source.
SOLUTION: A sulfur hexafluoride 7 being an oxidizing agent and a working fluid 1 pressurized and humidified through a compressor 2 and a regenerative heat exchanger 3, are blown out as a jet B from a nozzle 8 into lithium 9 in an alkaline metal tank 4 put in a melting condition by a heating means of priming materials or the like. At this time, the jet B agitates the lithium 9, and heat of reaction caused by reaction directly heats the working fluid 1. The heated work fluid 1 floats in the lithium 9, and is extracted from an upper part of the alkaline metal tank 4, and is supplied to a gas turbine 5 through a pipe line 11, and after it drives this, it is cooled by the regenerative heat exchanger 3 and a cooler 6, and is again refluxed to the compressor 2.
