PURPOSE: To significantly enhance surface field peak value on the functioning surface of a magnet and the range of magnetic line of force by orienting the easy axis of magnetization of a magnetic powder particle on the cross-section of a magnet in radial direction to enter into the magnet from the central part of a functioning face and return to the outer peripheral region of the functioning face.
CONSTITUTION: Easy axis of magnetization of a magnetic powder particle on the cross-section of a magnet (closed inner face magnetic path ring magnet) in radial direction is oriented to enter into the magnet from a central circular region on a functioning surface and subsequently return to the outer peripheral circular region of the functioning surface. A plastic bond magnet mainly composed of magnetic powder and synthetic resin is employed. Consequently, surface field peak value and the range of magnetic line of force on the functioning surface of a magnet are enhanced significantly, and even a ferrite based synthetic resin magnet can produce surface field surpassing that of a sintered magnet.
