Abstract:

To provide a cloth material for a brush which is adequate for forming coating films having good smoothness and diversified thicknesses and a brush.

The cloth material for the brush consists of a fabric 1 which is knitted by using composite yarn 2 consisting of extremely fine fibers and normal fibers, a fabric which is knitted by using the yarn consisting of the extremely fine fibers and the yarn consisting of the normal fibers and has portions 4 of the extremely fine fibers and the portions 5 of the normal fibers or a fabric which is formed as a nonwoven fabric by using the extremely fine fibers and normal fibers. This cloth material for the brush is used for a brush part acting on the painting surface of a roller brush 6, a brush 15 for painting or a long planar brush 24.
