PURPOSE: To enable fine air-conditioning control by providing a clothes quantity computing means for computing the clothes quantity of an occupant from the upper half clothes quantity and the lower half clothes quantity.
CONSTITUTION: The upper half clothes quantity of an occupant is estimated by an upper half clothes quantity estimating means from the outside temperature detected by an outside temperature detecting means 22 and the solar radiation quantity detected by a solar radiation quantity detecting means 23. A lower half clothes quantity estimating means 15 estimates the clothes quantity only from the outside temperature since the clothes for the lower half of the body are not taken off. The clothes quantity is computed in a clothes quantity computing means 15 from the estimated upper half clothes quantity and lower half clothes quantity so as to compute the equivalent temperature with a high accuracy.
