To achieve secure print by a cloud service, in an inexpensive image processing device which only has a storage device with small capacity.
An image processing device comprises: reception means which receives an instruction for cloud print; determination means which determines a size of a storage region used for development processing of print data which corresponds to the instruction if secure print is designated in the instruction; request means which transmits a print data acquisition request designating a part of the print data to a print server, within a size which can be stored in the size of the storage region; communication means which terminates a session with the print server after the print data corresponding to the print data acquisition request is received; and storage means which stores image data generated by the development processing to the print data, using the storage region which is determined for the instruction.
