To provide a clutch unit for a small motorized vehicle which clutch unit has superior operability and handleability, and ensures high safety.

The clutch unit is used for the small motorized vehicle having a body frame to which wheels and a driver's seat 113 are attached and which is equipped with an electric motor and a battery. The electric motor drives the wheels. The clutch unit comprises a clutch mechanism which transmits or cuts off a driving force to the electric motor, and a clutch lever 10 for operating the clutch mechanism is arranged on the upper part of the back face 114a of a back rest 114 of the driver's seat 113. The back face 114a of the back rest 114 is provided with a recess 11, which houses the clutch lever 10.
