Abstract:
To provide a CMOS image sensor that can embody a high-speed frame rate and reduce the area of a CMOS image sensor.
The CMOS image sensor can read out data from pixels of a large number of rows in a horizontal period, thereby achieving a high-speed frame rate. Pixel data can be read out in a unit corresponding to at least one basic bayer pattern, thereby reducing memory for temporarily storing pixel data read out from the pixels. In this case, in order to read out the pixel data in a unit corresponding to the basic bayer pattern, pixel data readout may be skipped for to pixels of at least one row including the first row.
