Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CO remover in which selective oxidation reaction of CO can be performed at a high reaction rate with excellent selectivity in a relatively simple device configuration.
SOLUTION: A selective oxidation catalyzer 50 is provided with a selective oxidation catalytic layer having a selective oxidation catalyst filled inside a gas passage 521. The selective oxidation catalytic layer is partitioned via an inner cylinder, thereby defining a first passage 501 in which a relatively high temperature mixed gas (reformed gas and air) supplied from a first pipeline 55 flows and second passages 502 in which a relatively low temperature mixed gas supplied from a second pipeline 56 flows. The selective oxidation catalyzer 50 is configured such that the mixed gases flowing in the first passage 501 and the second passages 502 flow in the same direction so as to mutually exchange heat.
