To obtain a coated granular agrochemical composition controlling an elution rate of an agrochemical active ingredient, having a slight fear of causing phytotoxicity, maintaining an agrochemical effect for a long period of time and to provide a method for producing the same.
This granular agrochemical composition comprises a granule containing an agrochemical active ingredient, a binder and a solid carrier and an acrylic silicone resin for coating the granule. The coated granular agrochemical composition is obtained by granulating the agrochemical active ingredient, the binder and the solid carrier and coating the obtained granule with the acrylic silicone resin. The acrylic silicone resin is preferably a copolymer of one or more kinds of monomers selected from acrylic acid, an acrylic acid ester, methacrylic acid and a methacrylic acid ester and a polymerizable unsaturated silicone monomer. The content of the acrylic silicone resin in the coated agrochemical composition is preferably 0.1-60 wt.%.
