To provide a nonchromium coated steel sheet which is environment- friendly, and has excellent bending adhesion.
The coated steel sheet is obtained by depositing a coating film on an alloy plated steel sheet in which a plated layer has a composition composing, by mass, 4 to 22% Al, 1 to 4% Mg, (0 to 0.1% Ti, 0 to 0.45% B), and the balance substantially Zn, and has a structure in which a primary crystal Al phase or a primary crystal Al phase and a Zn single phase are coexistent in a ternary eutectic structure of Al/Zn/Zn2Mg as a base steel sheet. In the coating film, the quantity of an inorganic binder to 100 pts.mass of inorganic powder is 10 to 24 pts.mass as nonvolatile contents, the quantity of an emulsion resin in 0 to 5 pts.mass as nonvolatile contents, and thickness is 5 to 20 μm. It is preferable that two or more kinds of inorganic powders with different mean particle diameters are contained in the coating film, and the ones in which the maximum mean particle diameters are double or more the minimum particle diameters are used. As the treatment before coating, hot water washing treatment can be performed. As coating material, water paints are used, and are respectively blended so that the above coating film composition and coating film thickness can be obtained, and coating and drying are performed.
