Abstract:

To provide a hard coat film that has sufficient surface hardness with warpage suppressed.

The coating composition comprises (A) reactive particles prepared by allowing an organic compound bearing one or more polymerizable unsaturated groups in one molecule to chemically bond to inorganic oxide particles, (B) a monomer or oligomer of an organic compound bearing two or more polymerizable unsaturated groups in one molecule, (C) an organic compound bearing one or more polymerizable unsaturated group in one molecule and has a weight-average molecular weight of ≥ 1,500 and (D), when desired, a siloxane compound having the dimethylsiloxane skeleton. This composition is coated on one face of the base film 11 and cured by irradiating with ionized radiation to form a hard coat layer 12 of 2 to 20 μm thickness thereby producing the hard coat film.
