PURPOSE: A synthetic resin latex emulsion coating is mixed with a resin prepared by modifying a 1,3-pentadiene of a specific iodine value and average molecular weight with epoxy and hydroxyl groups to increase the adhesion to aubstrates and resistance to water, alkali and werthering.
