To provide a method for coating a polypropylene raw material by using an aqueous attachment-accelerating agent for improving the attaching property of a coating material to the polypropylene raw material in place of a primer coating.
This method for coating the polypropylene raw material comprises a pre-treating process of cleaning the polypropylene raw material in advance, coating an aqueous attachment-accelerating agent characterized by containing a modified chlorinated polypropylene containing a chlorinated polypropylene part and a maleic anhydride part connected with the chlorinated polypropylene part, having 15-25 wt.% chlorine content, 1-5 wt.% maleic anhydride part content, an amine-neutralized water soluble resin, a wet property-improving agent and water, 25-90 wt.% blending ratio of the above modified chlorinated polypropylene based on the total of the modified chlorinated polypropylene and the amine-neutralized water soluble resin, 2.5-6.0 wt.% blending ratio of the wet property-improving agent based on the total of the aqueous attachment-accelerating agent and 2-10 wt.% amount of its solid portion based on the total of the aqueous attachment-accelerating agent and drying, and a coating process of coating the raw material after the pre-treating process.
