Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To close and open a discharge opening by a ball without fail by a coating tool wherein the ball is urged in a straight line by a coil spring with a simple structure.
SOLUTION: A coating tool comprises a barrel body which houses a fluid, a holder 8 with a shape almost cylindrical having a ball house 6, a holder maintaining means 10 provided oh the barrel body, a ball 12 being held rotatably in the ball house 6, and a coil spring 14 to be inserted into the holder 8 so as to urge the ball 12 forwardly. In the coil spring 14, a small-diameter part 14a which is to be inserted into a fluid induction hole 18 and is wound tightly, a middle-diameter operation part 14b which is positioned in an inner hole 8a of the holder 8 and generates spring force, and a large-diameter part 14c which is arranged in the inner hole 8a of the holder 8 and is to be inducted along the inner face of the inner hole 8a of the holder 8 in a process where the ball 12 moves back and forth and the middle-diameter operation part 14b operates and is being wound tightly are connected.
