To provide a liquid denture cleanser composition that enables easy cleaning of the denture when applied to the denture in use and subsequently removed therefrom e.g. by soaking of the denture in water, is excellent in stain-removing effect and antiseptic effect of a denture-soaking liquid, shows high shelf stability and is capable of readily and effectively cleaning the denture and keeping the same clean.
The coating-type liquid denture cleanser composition includes (A) 0.2-3.0 mass% nonionic surfactant, (B) 0.1-2.0 mass% cationic bactericide, (C) 0.5-4.0 mass% sulfite and (D) a water-soluble polymer substance, provided that the mass ratio of component (A) to (B) is 0.3-15, while the total amount of components (B) and (C) is within the range of 0.6-5.0 mass%, and the pH at 25°C is 6.0-8.5.
