To provide an apparatus by which nice coffee can be obtained by preventing the occurrence of coffee beans in a charred condition, or excessive or insufficient toasted condition.

An agitator 8 and a ring-shaped second electric heater 10 are provided inside a toaster 2. The bottom wall of the toaster 2 is made up of a plate 14 to which a first electric heater 12 has been caulked. Thus, since the toaster 2 is heated without unevenness in temperature, the coffee green beans are uniformly and wrappedly heated and are toasted in a swelled state sufficiently expanded to the cores thereof without becoming charred.
