Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil box with which the temp. drop of a coil is suppressed to the minimum, heating with a combustion burner or the like is unnecessitated and the running cost of a heat-retaining furnace is inexpensive by forming the furnace walls of the ceiling and side face of a coil box into heat insulating structure combining thin sheets and air layers.
SOLUTION: On the ceiling and side wall part of the coil box 41, heat reflecting boards in which the thin sheets 43 and air layers are combined in multilayer are provided. The thin sheets 43 consist of a stainless steel sheet and rugged dimples are formed at random on the surface of these thin sheets 43. And, the thin sheets consist of rectangular small pieces and many small pieces of the thin sheets 43 are arranged on the wall surface of the coil box 1.
