Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold rolling method for obtaining a grain oriented silicon steel sheet excellent in magnetic properties in a grain oriented silicon steel sheet using AlN as an inhibitor.
SOLUTION: In the method for producing a grain oriented silicon steel sheet in which a silicon steel slab containing, by mass, 0.025 to 0.100% C, 2.5 to 4.5% Si, 0.03 to 0.45% Mn and 0.007 to 0.040% Al is subjected to hot rolling, is thereafter subjected to hot rolled sheet annealing, is subsequently subjected to cold rolling for one time or for two or more times including process annealing, is thereafter subjected to primary recrystallization annealing and is then subjected to secondary recrystallization annealing, the final cold rolling is executed by a cluster type reversing mill in which the diameter of work rolls is 95 to 170 mm&phiv , and, in the stage of the sheet thickness in the process of the rolling, holding is executed in the temperature range of 100 to 350°C for 1 min or more.
