Title:
COLLECTING DEVICE FOR SOLAR ENERGY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5714150
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an efficient and stable collection of the solar energy by a method wherein the solar ray converging lens system and the solar heat collector part are closely and sealingly arranged in a spherical container and rotatably supported at two axes crossed at a right angle and passing through a center of the spherical container.

CONSTITUTION: One of Fresnel lenses 1 formed to have a regular hexagonal shape is arranged at a central part, other lenses are arranged such that one side of other lenses 1 is contacted with each of the sides of the lenses 1 so as to form a group of Fresnel lenses 1. Solar ray is converged by the group of Fresnel lenses 1, and the solar heat collected by the collector part 2 is guided to a desired point through a optical fiber cable 3 and then converted to electric energy or thermal energy etc. In this case, a group of Fresnel lenses 1 and the solar heat collector 2 are integrally assembled by some connecting rods 4... and the holding plate 5b etc., rotatably installed around the main axis 7 and the horizontal axis 11, then stored in a spherical transparent container 13.
