Abstract:

PURPOSE: To correct the color distortion of an input/output device and to transform color coordinates by using the neural network for the color correcting and color coordinate transforming method at the time of the input and output of an image of a color scanner, a color printer, a CRT display, a color plotter, etc.
CONSTITUTION: As for the color distortion correcting and color coordinate transforming method of an input/output device which uses the neural network color data of high order are generated from the data of a primary color and inputted to the neural network. A small-scale neural network is constituted by selecting and learning only the combination of input items exerting large influence again after the learning of the neural network or selecting the input items exerting the large influence individually and learning them again. Further, the neural network is divided into plural neural networks at every one or every plural outputs and learning is performed again to constitute a small-scale neural network.
