Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve transfer efficiency in the case of transferring a toner image on an interposed drum to a final print medium, such as paper in an image-forming device.

CONSTITUTION: In an image-forming device 1, thermal and electric biases are added to the toner image on an interposed storage body 5, while using a contact heater 9. This bias has a polarity for avoiding the toner. Since such toner images are collected or merged, additional heating can be reduced or excluded to paper 7 at the time of transfer, through a pressure roller 11.
