Abstract:
PURPOSE:To read a color picture to be read by one main scanning by using a dither processing means applying dither binarization to a mixed color picture signal in common read by a read means where different color of color filters are arranged sequentially so as to add a gradation expression thereby using one kind of a signal system from the read means to the dither processing means. CONSTITUTION:An R, G, B color arrangement (a) of an analog video signal subject to main scanning by a scanner section 1 is dither-converted by a dither conversion section 2 at each 4-bit according to the sequence of a dither pattern matrix (b) and becomes a dither binary digital signal arrangement C. Than a dither value is repeated at each 4-scanning in the order of dither pattern lines 1, 5, 9, 13 from 1st line in the sub-scanning direction. The dither binary digital signal arrangement C is separated at R, G, B component signals by an image data processing section 3. Thus, a dither binary signal added with the gradation expression for each R, G, B color is outputted from the image data processing section 3 by separating the dither binary digital signal of R, G, B color mixing outputted from the dither conversion section 2 by the image data processing section 3.
