PURPOSE: To easily produce a color sentence and to realize an equipment offering ease of use by informing color arrangement information to the operator at generation of the color sentence so as to select the information.

CONSTITUTION: The equipment is provided with a color picture input device 1, a color recorder, a controller 3, a memory unit 4, a color display section 5, and an operation section 6, color arrangement information is displayed on the color display means 5 and the desired color arrangement information is informed to the operator from the displayed color arrangement information for its choice. Thus, a color sentence is easily produced without need of knowledge relating to the color arrangement or the like and an expert knowledge relating to the color arrangement or the like is not required and a troublesome processing is avoided.
